Catholic Funerals During and After Covid

Between July and November 2020 Dr Eleanor Flynn and Dr Claire Renkin undertook a research project to discover the experiences of those conducting religious funerals during the first Covid-19 lockdown in Melbourne. Forty-eight funeral providers from Christian, Jewish, Hindu and Buddhist traditions were interviewed. Then in the Autumn 2022 edition of The Swag the reflections of fifteen Melbourne Catholic priests were presented. Below is an update on the original project.
