Jerusalem – the city of Shalom

During my travels to the Middle East, I savoured the magic of the ancient Jordanian city of Petra, the mystery of the Valley of the Kings in Luxor, Egypt and the majesty of the Grand Mosque in Muscat with its stunning design and colour. But it was a chapel on Jerusalem’s Mount of Olives that deeply touched my heart.

I first journeyed to Jerusalem 40 years ago.
